Natural Light Control
So many times; we forget just how much natural light plays a role in our lives. Natural light can be an inviting guess in a room or it can become a major problem as it is known to raise the cooling bills as well as fade furniture and flooring.
Types of Shades
There are different types of St Louis shades for your windows. They all do the same thing no matter what type you go with. You’ll be able to achieve balance, beauty, and style when you purchase any of the following:
The bamboo window treatments, as stated in the name, are made from bamboo. Bamboo is a tough and durable material that is able to be hung on almost any window in the home. Bamboo lasts forever in most cases. It’s also a natural ecological material.
Are you looking for a treatment that can keep the noise out of your home? If you live near a busy roadway or factory where strong noises are emitted daily, you’re going to need cellular treatments. They have great insulating values too.
Roller treatments work on the premise of rollers. They can be tugged on in order to go up or down. They are easy to control and come in different varieties. Vinyl and other fabrics go into the construction of these treatments which makes them highly durable.
Window treatments that are attached to a motor have an advantage over those that are not. If you are looking to address the higher windows in your home, motorized options are available so you don’t have to stretch or buy a step ladder just to open them.
You can trust us. For several years our St Louis Shades has been the window treatment company to come to in the St Louis area. Our shutter company will treat you as a priority and respect homes and businesses all throughout the community.

These are 3/4″ angle top honeycomb shades, inside mount in a whisper white color. This project completely diffuses the heat and cools the room.
Cellular shades are perfect for darkening a room. The fabric is cut close to the window jam which minimizes the light gap. The fabric itself filters no light and will super insulate the window and bring comfort to the room and lower heating bills to your wallet.
Black Screen Solar Shades. These shades are designed to diffuse high heat and glare without sacrificing the view. Solar shades come in many opacities, colors, and textures. Maximum shade width as wide as 144″.
These Natural Shades are made out of reeds, bamboo, and grasses. They bring a wonderful aesthetic to any room. A room darkening liner has been added and will completely block out all light, except for the small gap where the shade operates. This shade is operated cordless meaning you simply push it up or pull it down.
This shade is called a solar shade because it decreases the solar effect of the sun dramatically when drawn on the window. It does not completely block your view so it’s great for areas that do not require full privacy. These shades can be used indoors or outdoors.
These are room darkening honeycomb shades with cordless operation. Completed in The Holly Hills area of St. Louis City.
